The art department is lead by Mrs. Syrie. Mrs. Syrie loves kids, loves teaching and loves art! What could be better?
Here is a quote from her, below:
"The arts will be important to kids if they are important to the culture. Not all students are going to become artists later in life, but the higher level thinking skills and creative problem solving activities that the arts provide can be the catalyst for creative thought in whichever career choices students make. To think that I have a small part in that is such an honor! That's why the arts are important to me."
