~Art Fees~

Art fees support basic instruction activities in the art room. The cost is based on the various art project materials we use, per quarter. Fees in all classes help pay for paint, clay and other materials used to create art projects. Fees in 8th grade ceramics help offset the cost for clay and glaze (paint for clay) that you will use during the quarter. Mrs. Syrie has worked hard to keep fees down, even as costs for materials have increased. Please get in touch with Mrs. Syrie if you are not able to pay your art fee. We will work something out!

Frequently asked questions:

What if I don't pay my art fee by the end of the quarter? I would really appreciate it if you would pay your art fee before the end of the quarter so I can purchase art materials and also replenish the materials used throughout the quarter. All fees need to be paid by the end of the year in order to receive your yearbook also.

What if I take more than one art class in the year? This would not happen in 6th grade Art as that class is a semester class and lasts for the duration of time Mrs. Syrie is at that school. If you happen to be lucky enough to get two art classes in one year as a 7th or 8th grade, you would need to pay a separate fee for each because the classes are different and each require the fee to replenish different art materials used for each class.
