CMS ASB Executive Council Elections 2020-2021

Cheney Middle School will host our ASB Executive Council elections virtually this year.  As you know, with the school shutdown, we cannot meet in person so we are bringing the elections to you.  Check out this page for information and links regarding the upcoming election.
This year the ASB Executive Council has made the decision to not elect students to specific positions but rather elect a slate of students and assign the winning candidates based upon the input of a committee of students and staff.  That committee will include CMS Assistant Principal Eli Holm, CMS grade level advisors Jeff VanHorne (6th), Dan Estock (7th), & Emily Audet (8th), CMS ASB President Sophie Coffin, CMS ASB Vice President Luke Hooe, and CMS ASB Treasurer Halley Doney.
We will be selecting from the top 5 from 7th grade and top 2 from 8th grade.  Our schedule will take place as follows:
Monday, April 27 @ 8:00 AM - Applications available via CMS ASB Website
Thursday, April 30 by 3:00 PM - Applications due
Friday, May 1 - Screening of all completed applications.  Calls will be made to those candidates without completed applications to notify of non-selection and those candidates with approved applications for candidacy.
Monday, May 4-Friday, May 8 - Recording & approval of all campaign videos.
Monday, May 11-Friday, May 15 - Campaign Week - Videos posted to CMS Website, Facebook page, and Instagram.
