Next month, Cheney Public Schools will screen the award-winning documentary SCREENAGERS on Wednesday, May 22, from 6-7:45 p.m. at the Cheney High School Auditorium. Following the screening, a panel of professionals will lead a question-and-answer engagement session. The event is free and open to the public. The time of the screening is yet to be determined.

SCREENAGERS is a documentary film that probes into the vulnerable corners of family life. It depicts the messy struggles of social media, video games, and academics and offers solutions for helping kids navigate the digital world.

Are you ready to take your skills to the next level this summer? Join us for an intensive training program designed to enhance your speed, strength and agility!

Depending on the sport your athlete is participating, depends on the time they will attend the training sessions. Each Head Coach will be emailing each athlete's families with the times their sport will attend the trainings. All 8th grade and 9th graders will attend the 3rd session time ONLY. If you have questions on the time your athlete is supposed to attend, please email the Head Coach.

1st session 10th - 12th grade: 8 am - 9:30 am 

2nd session 10th - 12th grade: 9:30 am - 11 am

3rd session upcoming 8th & 9th graders: 11 am - 12:30 pm

As part of the Spokane Youth Football & Cheer program, the West Plains youth football teams are now accepting student registrations for the 2024 season.

As part of the Spokane Youth Football & Cheer program, the West Plains youth football teams are now accepting student registrations for the 2024 season.

The season runs from July to October, and the program is available for students entering grades 3-8 for the 2024-25 academic year. Click here to access the registration portal; you must also complete the Sports Physical Form and the School Verification Form to complete your registration.

The registration cost is $300, which includes a helmet, pads, jersey, and pants. All West Plains teams are called “Cheney Blackhawks”, and practices will be in Cheney, Airway Heights, or Medical Lake.
